Memecoin
Memecoin: A type of cryptocurrency that often starts as a joke or meme but can gain serious popularity and value due to community support and viral marketing.
Token Generation Event (TGE)
Token Generation Event (TGE): The initial event where a cryptocurrency is created and distributed to initial investors, project team members, and early supporters.
veMPAA
veMPAA (vote-escrowed MPAA): The unit of MPAA governance voting power. It is received by staking locked MPAA tokens and is non-transferable. The veMPAA balance decays linearly as the remaining time until the staked or locked MPAA unlock decreases.
Staking
Staking: The process of locking up MPAA tokens in the protocol to earn veMPAA, which grants voting power and eligibility for rewards. Stakers can earn additional MPAA tokens, a share of platform fees, and exclusive access to new projects and airdrops.
Governance
Governance: The system by which the MPAA community participates in decision-making processes, including protocol development, integrations, and other important matters. Token holders can vote on proposals using their veMPAA.
Bonding Curve
Bonding Curve: An algorithm that dynamically adjusts the token price based on the current supply, typically used to provide initial liquidity and fair pricing for newly created tokens.
Liquidity Pool (LP)
Liquidity Pool (LP): A collection of funds locked in a smart contract that provides liquidity for trading pairs on decentralized exchanges. Liquidity providers earn a share of the transaction fees generated by the pool.
Ecosystem Fund
Ecosystem Fund: A portion of the total MPAA token supply reserved to support the ecosystem, including development, partnerships, and unforeseen circumstances. Tokens vest linearly over 5 years.
Community Incentives
Community Incentives: A portion of the total MPAA token supply used for community incentives such as staking rewards, participation rewards, and grants for projects that contribute to the MPAA ecosystem. Tokens vest linearly over 3 years.
Founders and Team
Founders and Team: A portion of the total MPAA token supply reserved for the founding team and early contributors as a reward for their efforts and commitment. These tokens have a 1-year lockup period after TGE, followed by linear vesting over 5 years.
Initial Liquidity
Initial Liquidity: A portion of the total MPAA token supply used to provide initial liquidity on decentralized exchanges, ensuring smooth trading and reducing price volatility. These tokens are unlocked at TGE.
Early Contributor Airdrops
Early Contributor Airdrops: A portion of the total MPAA token supply distributed to early contributors as a reward for their support and contributions to the platform's early development. These tokens are unlocked at TGE.
Transaction Fees
Transaction Fees: Fees paid in MPAA tokens for creating and trading memecoins, using smart contract services, and other transactions conducted on the MPAA Launchpad.
Snapshot
Snapshot: A recorded state of the staking contract at a specific time, used to determine the distribution of rewards based on the staking status of users. Snapshots are taken every Sunday at midnight.
